The OPC Unified Architecture, shortly referred as OPC UA, is one of main drivers behind Industry 4.0. OPC UA as a standard provides communication and semantics which span across multiple areas. Although the standard originates from industrial automation it touches also building automation and many specific industry sectors through companion specifications.
Our work within OPC UA is primarily focused on software. Currently, there are 7 other companies from Poland in the foundation, of which 3 are corporate members (paid) and 4 are “logo members”.
“Logo Member” is an entry-level, no-cost membership provided by the OPC Foundation for companies wishing to use OPC technology in their products. We aim to work further on integration of this technology within our software ConnectiorIO SDK, ConnectiorIO Agent and hardware ConnectiorIO Gateway products.
